3. Installation
Front Side
Connected to the gateway
Back Side
Connected to the wall
If the gateway is placed on the desktop, please skip to step 3.3.
If the gateway is installed on the wall or roof,
3.1 Install mounting kit
According to the actual environment, users can choose
- screws
Attach the back side to the wall and use 2-4 screws to secure the kit from the front side
- 3M double-sided adhesive tape
Stick the back side to the wall surface
3.2 Install gateway
Connect the gateway to the front side of the kit
3.3 Plug ethernet cable (optional)
Connect the gateway to a router with ethernet cable
3.4 Plug USB-C power cable
The SYS LED and BLE1 LED will light up, indicating successful initialization of the system and Bluetooth.
If the Ethernet interface is used, the yellow LED will light up and the green LED will flash, indicating that the Ethernet is starting to work.
4. Setup
by WIFI
BGA300 provides a WIFI hotspot and runs a web server for initial setup. The hotspot SSID is FC-XXXXXX, where XXXXXX is the last 6 hexadecimal digits of gateway MAC, and the password is “12345678”. The server IP address is 192.168.4.1, and the default user account is admin/000000.
- Search the hotspot in your computer, tablet or smartphone and connect to it
- Open a web browser, and login into the server with information above
- Update the default password first, and start to setup the gateway

by Ethernet
- When connected to a router with ethernet cable, the gateway will run a DHCP client and get an IP address automatically
- Get the gateway’s IP address from the router’s dashboard or from other utilities
- Open a web browser from a computer, tablet or smartphone and enter the IP address above
- Login with default account admin/000000
- Update the default password first and start to setup the gateway

5. Test
Test BGA300 with user applications or third party tools.
